Tenho a pior memória que há na história, e esqueço-me de coisas que parecem incríveis de esquecer. No entanto, para outras coisas tenho a memória mais apurada do mundo! E esta sessão é dessas em que me lembro de muitos detalhes.

Lembro-me de estar já bem grávida quando a fiz, lembro-me de ter ido a voar de Cascais a Lisboa para não chegar atrasada e já nervosa só de pensar que estacionar perto do Jardim da Estrela ia ser um problema... Lembro-me que por sorte não me bloquearam o carro. Lembro-me de estar uma manhã maravilhosa para quem odeia calores excessivos, ou seja, estavam bom, mas ameno. Estava meio encoberto, mas com uma luz tão bonita... e para quem fotografa de manhã, isto é o melhor.

A Sara veio a Lisboa com o marido e a pequena Amelia fazer uma visita à família e aproveitou para fazer uma sessão, já que outro pequenito vinha a caminho! E conhecer a Amelia foi uma delícia, o que eu adoro crianças assim expressivas e cheias de vida. Ficaria a fotografá-las durante horas e horas!

I have the worst memory in history and I forget about things that seem quite weird to forget. However, I also have the greatest memory in the world for some other things, and I really can't control which I remember and don't. I just do. And this photo shoot is one of the things I remember as if it had happened yesterday.

I remember being really pregnant when I shot this, I remember driving really fast from Cascais to Lisboa, so that I wouldn't be late, I remember being nervous just by thinking about parking around this place... I remember that I almost got a ticket due to parking on the wrong place (I guess!). I remember that this was a great morning for people who hate extreme heat, which means that it was really good, but not too hot for July. It was cloudy, but the light was delightful... and for those who have photo shoots in the morning this is the very best.

Sara came to Lisbon with her husband and her daughter Amelia to visit her family and took the chance to have this photo shoot done as there was another baby on the way. My favorite part (sorry Sara and Gerben) was definitely Amelia, what a sweet girl and with such amazing expressions and tenderness in her eyes, so much curiosity for the world around her. I would keep photographing this girl for hours and hours!
